Is this bed big enough for my dog?
I want to get a bed for my dog. I like the Caddis Nuzzle Nest but a lot of the reviews said it was comfy but is smaller than it seems. So how big of a dog can fit on an extra large? I have a male and a female and I know they're ready to mate because the female's nose is brown and they're always nuzzling each other;) I put a nest box for them but niether of them will even go near it...and they've had the nest box in for a while now..=/...Is there anything i can do to make the nest box more appealing or something???????? My guess is the budgies are under 12 months old. if so, remove the box as they are too young to breed. the colour of the hens cere (nose) is not an indication that she is ready to breed when she is under 12 months old. It is normal for two budgies to kiss and preen each other. This doesn't mean they need a breeding box. Even if they mate, it doesn't mean they want to lay eggs. There are so many aspects to breeding budgies that needs researching. if you want to breed them, the take out the box, do your research and when you have everything right you can start again :D hallowsweets | Read more Sick Two Week Old Baby Bunny!? Yesterday night, (about 6:00PM) I was leaving the house started going down the drive and I found a baby bunny wobbling around in a circle. So I stopped and picked him up. Went and bought her some goats milk and a bottle. She was nuzzling my hand like she was hungry, digging and suckling my finger, (Obviously, momma rabbit had not return to the nest to feed her baby until after the time I had picked her up) But I could not find her nest anywhere. I am thinking either she was moving them and got startled and dropped her or she just accidentally wandered out of the nest. Her eyes are almost open/halfway open. She has her fur. Now, she will not eat willingly I have been forcing a few drops down. Tried last night and then figured I'd try again tomorrow, same story. I am terrified she will die. I know bunnies are very hard to keep alive that young. I just do not know what to do. On top of all that she might have a cold. She has been sneezing and I think grinding her teeth? or wheezing? I am not sure what the noise is but most likely its one of those. What can I do to make her more comfortable? | Read more Rabbit false pregnancy or real? Please help? I have a bunny who is 2 yrs old, not spayed and she stays in a hutch at night but she has a pen outside and stays there for most of the afternoon. She just recently has started nesting. But when I got home she had pulled the nest apart. She is a bit more quiet than normal and not as energized. I'm not sure if its a real pregnancy or a false one. I did put a stuffed animal bunny in there and she's been licking it and nuzzling. Could someone tell me something, I want to be a prepared as possible if it is real and if not I would like to know how to keep her comfortable. She could only be pregnant if she was together with an unneutered male while she was in heat. It would have had to be fairly recent. If she has not been with a male rabbit (either loose or in a cage), she isn't pregnant. If she has been with a male, she may or may not be pregnant. You won't know until she starts fattening up (really pregnant) or spontaneously stops this behavior (wasn't pregnant). Kris | Read more |
